The New Year brings new hope and calls for a better outlook in all aspects of life. The first day after the Spring Festival, a general meeting was held by the PDOC to encourage its working staff to start work more energetically in the new year. This is a meeting to carry out the spirits of the 9th plenary session of the 6th Provincial Party Committee for work implementation with doubled efforts. As an old Chinese saying goes, a young idler, an old beggar. Spring, the beginning of the year, symbolizes hope and predicts good harvest. The New Year calls for new and dynamic atmosphere. The ABFL will march into in the new year with a brand-new appearance. It is ready to devote dedicated efforts to conduct foreign language learning activities in various forms and through various channels, expand the team of learners and strengthen exchanges among its members. Speech by Ms. Wang Jiuping

Good afternoon, dear friends: I am Wang Jiuping from Information Center, I'm happy to introduce about my work unit. Our center has four signboards, namely Hebei International Economic & Trade Liaison Center, Hebei International Business Information Center, Hebei E-commerce Developing Center, and the News & Culture Center of Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce. Since the establishment of the
Department of Commerce on Aug. 27, 2003, the Center has gone through more than 700 days, and it has just turned two years old. The Center is now a young and gorgeous team with integrity and a long-term vision.

The Center has a harmonious management team with pioneering spirits, and a professional team consists of qualified administrative personnel, skillful in the network management and traditional trade. Here, I want to draw your special
attention to our Director, Mr. Jin Cheng: He has rare days to stay with his family every year; He has few nights to enjoy good sleeping every month. He is always busy on business trips and working overtime late into night; he is always planning and working hard for the rapid development of the center.

The Center has developed and established a series of webs, such as, Hebei InvestNet, Hebei Commerce, University Net, Intranet of the Department of Commerce, Project Approval Net; It has successfully undertaken and participated in a series of important activities such as the Hebei-Hongkong Week in Hebei,
Langfang 518 International Economic & Trade Fair, 9.8 Xiamen International 'Symposium, China-Asean Exposition, Tianjin-Bohai International Auto Components Symposium, Ping-pong Ball and Badminton Match; It has satisfactorily organized the Training Course for Investment Attraction Online, Training Course for Project
Managers.

I am Wang Jingjing from the division of International Trade and economic
affairs. As an optimistic but rather shy girl in nature, I easily suffer from stage fright. But this time I have to call up all my courage to take part in this English-speaking Party. I have chosen to accept the challenge and face the difficulties. So, now here I
am. Whether I speak well or not, I regard it as a big progress for me. Because part of my goal is my own character training-to be more confident, to be brave in the face of difficulties. Small as it is, this is a meaningful step forward for me. The first day I entered the department of commerce, director-general Cui told us," unity, being practical, honesty and high efficiency" are the principles in which we construct our department. The unity is the foundation, being practical is the key, honesty is the guarantee, high efficiency is the goal. From that day on, i have been feeling this
atmosphere everywhere all the time.

When I come to this department, I told myself: this will be my home, my future will start from here. With the help of all the people I meet, I will learn to become an integrated person who has a healthy body, can take on important tasks, has
independent thought, an open mind, intensive thinking and the ability to judge between right and wrong.

Now I am a member of the division of the international trade and economic affairs. Here again I feel a harmonious climate, all the people respect and support each other, working hard together for every task. I just feel I knew them all long time ago. They are always teaching me new things about work and life.
